At the end of this month, you'll receive a follow-up email with details and a sign-up link for our special program and tour of the private Bartlett Tree Research Laboratories & Arboretum. This is a rare opportunity to visit their impressive 350-acre property in Charlotte, NC—an accredited Level IV Arboretum featuring extensive tree research, education, conservation efforts, test plots, and a diverse collection of plants (including over 2,000 species). The site serves as a living laboratory for advancing arboriculture. More information, including the itinerary and registration, will be shared soon via email. Don't miss this unique chance—space will be limited! We have a great opportunity to see Bartlett Research Arboretum on @ 10AM April 10. This arboretum is privately owned. It is not open to the public. It's only open to select Gardening groups. I've visited several different Arboretum's. Winterthur, Tyler Arboretum, Longwood Gardens and a few others. Bartlett has more rare plants than any other Arboretum I've seen. The owner has spared no expense collecting many rare and wonderful plants for Bartlett's beautiful Arboretum.
Bartlett Rhodie Hill (short).mp4 Hope to see everyone there on Friday April 10th. Kevin McCorkle, president of the Central Carolina ASA Chapter, will have Native Azaleas there for sale. Here is a chance to buy hard to find native azaleas and enjoy the wonderful tour of this beautiful Arboretum! I'm attaching a video of the Rhododendron area they call Rhody hill. It's a Google Drive file. HOW TO REGISTER FOR BARTLETT ARBORETUM VISIT Mike OHara |
